The next generation of motorsport talent took to the rally stage on Sunday, August 9, 2026, as the Junior Category drivers competed in Qualifying Round 1 of SIAL Season 2, conducted under the regulations and sanctioning framework of the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI).
With the clock as their biggest challenge, the young drivers pushed their limits through every corner and every section of the stage, showcasing speed, control and determination as they battled for the fastest times.
Dhanvanth emerged at the top of the standings, completing the stage in an impressive 1:49.360 to secure first place. Nikhil Krinto finished second with a time of 1:52.996, while Umesh completed the podium in third place with 1:55.429.
The opening qualifying round marks an important first step in what promises to be a competitive season. With more rounds still ahead, the current standings are only the beginning, and every driver will have further opportunities to challenge for the top positions.
