The championship season officially began with Round 1 at HICET, marking the start of an exciting motorsport series. The event saw enthusiastic participation from both experienced drivers and newcomers who were eager to test their skills on a competitive platform. Drivers were given time to walk through the track layout and understand the technical sections before the runs began.
The track was designed on a dark brown soil surface surrounded by greenery within the campus, creating a natural rally-style environment. The layout included tight corners, short acceleration zones, and technical turns that required careful braking and smooth steering control. The surface conditions initially provided decent grip, allowing drivers to push their cars confidently through the course.
However, rainfall during the event significantly changed the nature of the track. As the rain continued, the soil quickly turned wet and slippery, particularly in braking zones and corner exits. Drivers had to quickly adapt to the changing conditions, carefully managing throttle input and steering corrections to avoid losing traction. The sudden change in weather made the track far more challenging and demanded a high level of control and concentration from the participants.
Despite the challenging conditions created by the rain, the round was successfully completed and set an exciting tone for the rest of the championship season.
